Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Design Fab Works, LLC. Below are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

1. Shipment Processing & Lead Times

  • Standard Order Processing: We do our best to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. Standard in-stock orders are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days.
  • Custom/Kit Lead Times: Certain specialty components, custom wiring harnesses, or built-to-order kits may require additional lead time. If an item has an extended lead time, it will be noted on the product page or communicated to you directly via email.
  • Weekend & Holiday Delivery: Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or federal holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

  • Calculated at Checkout: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated in real-time and displayed at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and your delivery address.
  • Carriers: We primarily ship via reliable major carriers (such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS) to ensure your package arrives safely.
  • P.O. Boxes & APO/FPO Addresses: High-value control modules and heavy fabrication kits generally require a physical street address for secure delivery. We highly recommend shipping to a physical address rather than a P.O. Box to avoid carrier restrictions.

3. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will typically become active within 24 hours of shipment.

4. International Shipping (Canada Only)

  • Service Area: We currently only ship to addresses within the United States and Canada.
  • Customs, Duties, and Taxes: For orders shipping to Canada, Design Fab Works, LLC is not responsible for any customs clearance fees, duties, or local taxes applied to your package. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the sole responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

5. Damages, Lost Packages, and Shipping Issues

  • Carrier Liability: Design Fab Works, LLC is not liable for products damaged, lost, or stolen during transit once they leave our facility.
  • Filing a Claim: If you receive your order and it is visibly damaged, or if your tracking shows delivered but you have not received it, please save all packaging materials and damaged goods, and contact the shipping carrier immediately to file a claim.
  • Support: While carrier issues are outside our control, we want to help. If you run into a severe delivery issue, reach out to us with your order number and claim details so we can assist you with the process.
